Founders of G Pulla Reddy Educational Institutions

Late Sri. G. Pulla Reddy (1920-2007)

The late Sri G. Pulla Reddy, an accomplished businessman with a clear vision and dedication to a good cause, founded the G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (for women), supported by the G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust.
The college name is on his wife’s name Shri. G. Narayanamma. One institution that seeks to encourage technical education among women is the "G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (for women)."
His vision was to elevate the status of women in society so that they could equally shoulder domestic and professional responsibilities.
Given women's significant role in society, the vision aims to empower them and provide them with a more contemporary perspective by raising their level of awareness.
Since its founding, the college has advanced and developed at a remarkable pace. In addition to increasing staff and student numbers, it also considerably improves campus amenities to meet the demands of the students better.

G Narayanamma Institute Of Science And Technology (GNITS), Hyderabad

Founded in 1997, in its 25-year history, GNITS has succeeded in achieving academic and research excellence in the domains of engineering and technology, where hundreds of students graduate with honors each year.
GNITS was founded with the mission to leverage "education" as a means of "empowering" women. We encourage young women through our experiences, knowledge, and abilities that have been passed down through decades of trust and wisdom.
All the courses are accredited by the AICTE, NAAC, and NBA (where applicable). According to the NIRF rankings, the institute is also among the top 150 HEIs for engineering in all of India. Students are encouraged to explore their start-up ideas and are assisted in developing successful businesses through the institute's on-campus incubation center.
The campus placement programmed at GNITS is well-known, and it has made a name for itself by enabling young women to pursue their professional aspirations and fulfil their objectives. Over 40 lakhs per year was the highest placement offer provided by Adobe Systems during the preceding academic year.
Reputable organizations that include Amazon, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Dell, Deloitte, Salesforce, Invesco, E&Y, Qualcomm, L&T Technology Services, Bosch, Ford, Accenture, Infosys, TCS, and many other MNCs have participated in campus hiring from GNITS in recent years.

In order to address concerns like gender equality, sustainability, human values, and ethics, the institution added a variety of courses like gender sensitization, environmental studies, sports, and NSS as required courses for all engineering programmes. The students have participated in numerous events as a member of their organisations and are actively involved in social outreach efforts.

The GNITS has a strong scientific foundation and is a leader in the domains of communication, computer science, and mobility. The preceding academic year saw the publication of around 121 research papers in reputable journals, 26 book chapters, and 70 conference papers. The GNITS professors are engaged in consulting work with businesses and have completed several notable projects in the last year.

The G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust, supported by the G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (for women), was established by the late Sri G. Pulla Reddy garu, a renowned industrialist with a clear vision and dedication to a good cause. The college bears Smt. G. Narayanamma Garu's name, who is his wife. One institution that seeks to encourage technical education among women is the "G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (for women)". His vision was to elevate the status of women in society so that they could equally shoulder domestic and professional responsibilities.
