Mrs. G Srividya Reddy

Mrs. G. Srividya Reddy is a visionary leader whose remarkable insights, deep
expertise, and compassionate approach define her commitment to advancing women’s empowerment and education. As the granddaughter of the esteemed Sri G. Pulla Reddy and daughter of Sri G. Raghava Reddy, a respected philanthropist and educator, Srividya carries forward a legacy dedicated to societal progress through education and charity.
In her role as Chairwoman of the CII-IWN (Indian Women Network), she actively promotes initiatives supporting women’s empowerment across various fields. In addition to her role as Vice-Chairperson of multiple G. Pulla Reddy Educational Institutions, including the renowned G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS), Srividya oversees the G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust, which has established over ten esteemed educational institutions throughout southern India.
Her passion for fostering entrepreneurship among women inspired the establishment of MiraiNxt Innoworks, an incubation and acceleration centre dedicated to mentoring, funding, and supporting innovative ideas. MiraiNxt Innoworks serves as a platform to help aspiring women entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful startups and commercially viable businesses. Mrs. Srividya Reddy’s dedication to education, women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurship continues to inspire and uplift communities, furthering her family’s enduring legacy.

Late Smt. G. Narayanamma

The late Sri G. Pulla Reddy, a visionary entrepreneur dedicated to a noble cause, established the G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (for Women) under the aegis of the G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust. Named in honor of his late wife, Smt. G. Narayanamma, the institution was founded with a mission to empower women, enabling them to balance both professional and personal responsibilities.
Recognizing the vital role of women in society, the institute strives to equip them with a modern outlook by enhancing their awareness and opportunities. Since its inception, the college has witnessed remarkable growth, not only in student and faculty strength but also in the continuous enhancement of campus facilities to better serve its students’ evolving needs.

G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (GNITS)

Established in 1997, GNITS has spent the past 27 years achieving academic and research excellence in engineering and technology. Each year, hundreds of students graduate with honors, carrying forward the institute’s legacy of knowledge and innovation. Founded with the mission to empower women through education, GNITS continues to inspire and equip young women with the skills, expertise, and confidence to excel in their chosen fields.
All courses at GNITS are accredited by AICTE, NAAC, and NBA (where applicable). The institute is also ranked among the top 150 higher education institutions (HEIs) for engineering in India, according to the NIRF rankings. GNITS fosters an entrepreneurial spirit by encouraging students to explore their start-up ideas and supporting them through its on-campus incubation center.
The institute’s renowned campus placement program has played a key role in shaping the careers of its students. In the last academic year, Adobe Systems offered the highest placement package of ₹40+ LPA. Leading organizations such as Amazon, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Dell, Deloitte, Salesforce, Invesco, EY, Qualcomm, L&T Technology Services, Bosch, Ford, Accenture, Infosys, and TCS, among many others, have recruited talent from GNITS in recent years.

Fostering Education, Ethics, and Social Responsibility
G. Pulla Reddy Charitable Trust and Educational Society

The G. Pulla Reddy Charitable Trust and the G. Pulla Reddy Educational Society have been instrumental in promoting education, ethics, and social responsibility through the G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS) for Women. GNITS was established with the mission to elevate the status of women in society, enabling them to balance both professional and personal responsibilities. Committed to addressing key societal concerns such as gender equality, sustainability, human values, and ethics, GNITS integrates essential courses like Gender Sensitization, Environmental Studies, Sports, and NSS into its engineering programs. Students actively participate in various organizations and social outreach efforts, fostering a sense of responsibility and leadership.
Academically, GNITS is a leader in communication, computer science, and mobility, with a strong research foundation. In the past academic year alone, faculty and students have published 120 research papers in reputable journals, 26 book chapters, and 70 conference papers. Additionally, faculty members are engaged in industry collaborations, undertaking consulting projects and completing significant research initiatives. Through its commitment to academic excellence and social progress, the G. Pulla Reddy Charitable Trust and G. Pulla Reddy Educational Society continue to shape a brighter future for women in engineering and technology.
